Schedule
  • January​ 12th: Red Event Testing (4-6p)

  • January 14th: Blue Event Testing (3-5p)

What should I expect?
  • Mrs. Chuang will provide a seating chart for either the two classrooms or in the MPR to prevent cheating.

  • You will be asked to sign-in into a website -- https://testing.hosa.org/, and you will be given the log-in username and password on a sheet paper.

  • Each test has its own time range, either 60min or 90min, depending on your exam. Check your normal event guidelines (as seen in the Resources page).

  • The exact testing dates/week for Stratford haven't been announced yet, but it's normally during club hours.

  • ​You don't need to wear HOSA attire, and, for most events, #2 pencils and an eraser aren't required (but check your guidelines first).

What should I expect?

  • Participants compete in their NGL/ATC events (brown on the website) and the second round of in-person normal events, such as HOSA Bowl, CPR/First Aid, Veterinary Science.

  • Over 4,000 members, advisors, and industry partners come together for inspirational speakers, leadership workshops, professional development, career guidance, and to give it their all at this culmination of another successful California HOSA year.​

  • Throughout the conference, attendees are given the opportunity to network with fellow CalHOSA students, engage in inspirational workshops and guest speaker lectures, and learn more about the medical field -- along with competing and winning events!

Details & Criteria

Dress Code
  • You aren't required to wear HOSA Blues throughout the conference, but it's best to check the guidelines and images below. When in doubt, ask your officers and advisor!

  • Tip: It's better to be safe than sorry! When in doubt, or when the dress code isn't specified, wear HOSA Blues.

What should I pack?

See a sample packing list to the right (from ILC 2024).

Important items include:

  • HOSA uniform (blues) + business clothes

  • Two #2 pencils, an eraser, and an ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, school ID)

  • Casual clothes

  • Toiletries

  • Electronics
